Continuing on our mission for weight reduction, our new Carbon / Kevlar Wings arrived. They have not yet been fully trimmed. This will be done at the time of fitting.
Weight of standard wings : 3.8kg's
Weight or new wider Carbon Kevlar wings : 1.9kg's
These have been made based on standard GTS-t wings. We then bonded on some 400R Arches, and then took a mould of the whole thing to give us a 1 piece arch, which is about 3 inches wider than standard.
Plenty of room for wider wheels for next season.
Looking forward to them being fitted.
Next the rear arches, then boot lid, then doors, and finally Carbon / Kevlar Seats.
