Next on the list was to refot the front end of the car and the brake cooling ducts.
We started with the original indicator and spot light unit
Cut them apart
Then screwed them all together
Job done.
Fitted Number plates
Bolted the front bumper back on woth new brake cooling ducts
Loaded the car on the trailer, (as you can see the car is now in need of a respray) Abbey Motorsport here we come
Loaded the car on to their ramps to set the suspension up and have a general look over the car to check all is well.
We fitted new carbon tie rods. You can see the ends of the brake ducts. These will stay as they are for now until we fit our new brakes
The best part of the day was having the car weighed. All of our efforts have paid off over the months trying to reduce the weight of the car.
We have dropped 71kg of weight from the car. This is with half a tank of fuel and without driver.
