The main day, started again with a super fried breakfast from Sav. With about 5 laps under the belt, as many laps as possible were needed to learn the track to be in with a change of qualifying. We had fresh suspension giving us the ability to make fine tweaks to the way the car handled, but due to finances being tight after the additional costs of the last round, we had to run on the same tyres, which had seen better days. By the time practice came round, we were in with a good chance of qualifying.
Although, the last minute tweaks made to the suspension, and the fact the tyres had seen better days, we were 1.5 seconds down in qualifying compared to practice alone. Not the best of weekends for Project Moff, but between us all we have learned a great deal...
Big Thank Yous must certainly go to Will and Alex from AF Racing for taking time out of their weekend to get the car back up and running.
