The rebuild has begun. Currently we are looking to replace the camshafts, cam covers and shims. The bottom end mains and big ends will be removed, checked and replaced when we get to them also.
We need to examine the removed parts more closely. All the pictures below are from the inlet sde. As you see from the photos there are many marks on the removed parts which we need to get to the bottom of.
